Upcoming Trips

Folly Farm

£15 = 1 Child

27/30

Our year 2 class has been learning the difference between animals (habitats, diet etc). We would love to take them to see these animals in the flesh, some for the first time.

Folly Farm is also relatively far away so not all of the children would have had the chance to travel to this part of Wales.

St Fagans

£10 = 1 Child

29/30

As part of our St David’s day celebrations we have been learning about the history of Wales with year 7 and 8.

We would love to take them to St Fagans to see for themselves the reality of living in Wales during different time periods.

Big Pit

£10 = 1 Child

27/32

Our year 6 class has been studying the life of a coal miner in Wales. They are going to write a diary about the conditions and workload of the mine.

Visiting big pit will give them a greater experience and appreciation of what it took to work in these conditions.

Mumbles

£5 = 1 Child

24/30

As part of their GCSE Welsh Bacc project our students will be preforming a litter pick along Mumbles beach. Despite living so close many of our students have never been to a beach before

This will allow them to experience new setting, benefit the local community all while helping the students to gain a qualification.
